本作は「RyuZu」シリーズの一作。幾層にも重ねられたシルバーの特殊金属と塗料は、クワイ華の緻密な手仕事によって一つひとつ表情を与えられ、光を受けるたびに繊細な輝きを放ちます。見る角度や光の強さによって表情は刻々と変化し、無機質な素材の中に、まるで時間そのものが呼吸するような静かな生命のうねりが生まれる。素材と光を自在に操りながら、幾重もの工程を積み重ねて完成へと導く、そのクラフトマンシップが本作の奥行きを支えています。

The spiral form in the lower right appears to move quietly, drawing the eye along its flow. As the gaze follows its movement, a form reminiscent of a dragon ascending toward the heavens gently emerges from the left. The viewer’s eyes naturally travel across the work, allowing an individual story to unfold between light and shadow.

This work is part of the RyuZu series. Multiple layers of specialized silver metal and paint are meticulously built up through Kuwai Hana’s precise craftsmanship, giving the surface a distinctive character. Each layer catches the light with a subtle radiance, while the work’s expression continually shifts with changes in viewing angle and illumination. Within the seemingly inorganic material, a quiet sense of movement and vitality emerges, as though time itself were breathing within the work. This depth is created through Kuwai’s craftsmanship, carefully manipulating material and light through a succession of painstaking processes.
