MANDALAは、神社の狛犬に刻まれた渦巻き文様から着想を得て生まれた作品です。守ること、巡ること。そうした日本的な感覚を、あらためて現代のかたちとして捉え直しています。幾何学的な構成でありながら、どこか呼吸のような揺らぎがあります。線を追っていくうちに、視線は自然と中心へ引き寄せられ、気づけば見る側の時間も少しだけゆっくりと流れ始めます。

MANDALA is a work inspired by the swirling patterns carved into the guardian lion-dogs found at Shinto shrines.
Themes of protection and cyclical movement—deeply rooted in Japanese sensibility—are here reconsidered and reinterpreted in a contemporary form.
While the composition is fundamentally geometric, it carries a subtle, almost breathing rhythm. As the eye follows the lines, the gaze is naturally drawn toward the center, and before one realizes it, time itself seems to slow for the viewer.
