本作は、表面を削ることなく、特殊塗料に熱を加えることで生じる化学反応を用いて制作されている。
焼きによって塗膜の色味や表情が微細に変化し、意図だけでは捉えきれない、おぼろげな色彩が現れる。

偶然と制御のあわいに生まれるその表情は、見る角度や光によっても静かに揺らぐ。

「幽玄」。
明確には捉えられないものの、その奥に深い趣を感じさせる。
その名のとおり、見えるものと見えないものの境界に漂うような一作である。

This work is created without abrading or carving the surface. Instead, heat is applied to a special coating, producing a chemical reaction between the material and heat.
The firing process subtly alters the color and character of each layer, revealing hazy tones that cannot be entirely dictated by intention.
